| Takashi Iwamoto |
Chairman |
Graduated from the Graduate Division of Science and Technology, Sophia University (MSc) in 1997.
After graduation, Takashi Iwamoto worked for Accenture
Ltd (CRM Group) for 8 years where he was
involved in IT enabled business projects for various companies. His latter half of his career was devoted
to consulting services in the healthcare industry.
In 2001, he was involved in the establishment of Rakkan Net and was appointed chairman in 2003. Under the motto,
“to make the most of each patient’s experience”, he developed a patients’ information database and cooperated
with local communities to organize lectures given by patients. The Rakkan Net website provides healthcare
information and invitations to events for various patients and was accessed by 15,000 people per month.
In 2003, Rakkan Net launched the research business for companies and the administration based on patient and
medical personnel information.
As healthcare becomes more complex and extensive, he believes that positive usage of patients’ knowledge from
their healthcare experiences will be an important alternative to the conventional ‘ready-made’ healthcare services.

Yuri Iwamoto began her nursing career at the maternity ward of Tokyo Medical University Hospital where
she worked for 4 years since 1995. From 1999, she worked for 3 years in the gynecology and VIP ward of
the University of Tokyo Hospital. She has been serving as a PR committee member for the Japanese Nursing
Association since 2003.
Her professional knowledge on healthcare and counseling skills for nursing has enabled her to establish good
relationships with patients and medical personnel. She works as an interviewer and a medical advisor during
the interview sessions for the research.

| Akiko Mori |
Project Manager |
Graduated from Sophia University in 1995. She has worked in the Asset Management Group of the Deutsche
Bank Group for 9 years where has gained an extensive experience in trust bank operations. Through her business
experience in foreign securities and foreign exchange operations, trust accounting and client services,
she has established close ties with various global financial institutions in Japan, USA, UK, Australia and Singapore.
After giving birth to her first child, she joined Rakkan Net and has been working as project manager, translator
and interpreter.
